Thank you for visiting my website. I am Janey Thompson and I am a licensed massage therapist. My massage therapy training included the 500 hours required by the state of Texas for the license to practice therapy and is renewable every 3 years with continued education. I completed my training for lymphedema therapy at Dr. Vodder's International School in Dallas, Texas with 160 hours. This training and certification is renewed with specialized continuing education every 2 years. You may review Dr. Vodder's website for a list of therapists at www.vodderschool.com.

I have been working with clients who have lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency, fibromyalgia, hydrocephalus and clients who desire the health benefits of this specialized massage. This massage is great for people who suffer migraines, and tinnitus. It is a wonderful way to get the body ready to heal prior to surgery. Follow-up therapy after surgery helps the body heal as the fluids are moved out of the surgery site allowing tissue to receive nutrition and oxygen.

My work place is in Lubbock, Texas. I offer combined decongestive therapy which includes manual lymph drainage massage, bandaging and self-care education. All therapy is by appointment only.
